I don't always change my work, but I always love listening to different opinions, suggestions and interpretations.

Well I appreciate it. Unless of course it is epic ridiculous which I think you didn't intend in your poll. I write to improve. There are those who write to vent. In either case, improvement is something a person should work on. Unless of course you don't care about the quality of your work and it speaks ONLY to you (in which case it is stupid to post it on a social art viewing site), in which case one should specify... I would say that I like getting critiques and many people are kind enough to give me but I would like more ^^ kinda ungrateful perhaps

I love getting suggestions! I want to become a better writer, so I'd better take them into account (unless I totally disagree, or if it was meant to be that way (but I'm still respectful.))

i prefer delusions of grandeur. aka its the way i made it because i want it that way.

I like getting 'critical' comments even though I never officially ask for critique.
Even if I don't agree or don't 'respect' the writing of the commenter, it's always interesting to try on an opposing perspective and I'm bound to learn something about
the other person, me and my poem as a result, one way or another.

I am reluctant, though, to offer critique or critical comments if someone hasn't
specifically asked for it. Some people don't take it well at all (even when they do ask for it. )

I went with "if it's a reader whose work I enjoy" but I think it's more about a reader whose work I respect. I once had a very young writer comment on something that was deliberately experimental and abstract that "maybe better structure would help" or some such... not exactly helpful.

But... if someone whose work I respected wanted to offer me insight, I'd be always be very grateful.

I get a lot of "advice" from people that don't know what the hell they're talking about. That's annoying. More rare is the genuine and clever suggestions, which I adore getting. Sometimes it's such a simple thing, or even a line break suggestion....it really helps. So I'm open to the comments, for certain.

Depends on what I've written but, 'If it's coming from a writer whose work I enjoy, sure.'

Although I chose "no, never" there has been one, and only one, occasion where I took someones' advice because they understood exactly what I was trying to portray and how to convey it in a way that was closer to the theme of the poem.

Oh goodness yes! Even if I don't take their advice, I always appreciate input.
